Animated one pager
A single page with entrance animation and some scroll motion. The entry level of this category.
01Agencies quote between ten and sixty thousand euros for an interactive story site. The work behind that number changed. The number has not. Here is the whole gap, with our own prices in it.
Ask a studio to build you a scrolling story site and the number that comes back will be somewhere between ten thousand euros and sixty. That is not a made up range. It is what the studios publish on their own websites.
What almost nobody explains is which parts of that number are craft, which parts are coordination, and which parts are simply the price the market got used to paying before the tooling changed.
The cost floor collapsed. Work that genuinely required a team of specialists and a five figure budget can now be done by one person in days, given the right tooling. Not a worse version of it. The same output.
The published prices did not move, because published prices rarely do. They move when somebody undercuts them and the work still holds up.
A brief, a kickoff, a moodboard round, a design round, a revision round, a build, a QA pass, a launch call. Six to ten weeks of elapsed time, most of it spent waiting rather than working.
Every scroll behaviour is written fresh for this one client, which means every scroll behaviour is also debugged fresh for this one client.
The story is written as a plain document. A library of scroll mechanics that have already been built, tested and shipped turns it into a page. The page deploys itself.
The custom work is the part that should be custom: the argument, the structure, the words, and any mechanic this story needs that the library does not have yet.
We would rather publish them than make you ask. All figures are Australian dollars, one off, and include deployment.
One scrolling page, built from the mechanics library, in your brand, with your content. Two revision rounds. For a business with one thing worth explaining properly.
A custom narrative structure, four to six bespoke scroll mechanics, your data visualised, copy shaped with you, and thirty days of revisions.
Multiple pages, custom motion design, live or updating data, analytics, and twelve months of hosting and quarterly edits.
A single scrolling page bolted onto a site we have already built for you. No new brief, no new relationship.
Being cheaper than an agency is not a strategy. Being cheaper because the work genuinely costs less to do, and saying so, is one.
The part we will say out loud
We do not do 3D or WebGL. That is where the twenty five to sixty thousand euro tier lives, and it is also where the delivery risk lives. If that is what you need, we are not the right people yet and we would rather say so now.
We also do not think a low price is a reason to buy. The reason to buy is that the page works: it loads fast, it reads properly on a phone, it still makes sense with JavaScript switched off, and the story in it is actually worth scrolling. If it does not do those things, the price is irrelevant.
The agency figures on this page are published prices, listed below. The hours breakdown is our own estimate and is labelled as one where it appears.
